Location-Aware Land Parcel & Economic Survey System
Developed and customized a digital census platform for land parcel and economic activity mapping across African regions. The platform replaced paper-based field operations with a location-aware survey system integrated with ERPNext, enabling survey management, geospatial data handling, and GPS-based field data collection.
Traditional field surveys relied heavily on paper-based processes, making data collection, task assignment, and location tracking difficult to manage. The project aimed to digitize the survey workflow by combining ERPNext with GIS technologies, allowing field agents to complete surveys at precise geographic locations while centralizing survey management.
This project introduced me to GIS and geospatial technologies for the first time. Understanding GeoServer, geospatial datasets, coordinate systems, and map services required significant research before implementation. In addition, the ERPNext customization was considerably more complex than previous projects because it needed to integrate multiple systems while maintaining a smooth workflow for field agents.

"This project pushed me beyond traditional web development into GIS and geospatial systems. I learned how to work with GeoServer, Docker, spatial datasets, and location-based workflows while building complex ERPNext customizations. It strengthened my ability to research unfamiliar technologies, integrate multiple systems, and deliver full-stack solutions in a specialized technical domain."
